Avoid Flip Flop Issues Before, During, And After A Wedding Reception
Are you going to a wedding reception and want to wear flip flops? I have some tips for you to make a splash without your feet hurting in the middle of things.
1)
Wear something high-quality at the reception. I know there are cheap plastic versions out there, but you want to avoid that. Here in Florida, many of us who have flip flops opt for the leather-based materials. We do not do the cheap stuff.
You are probably going to have some blisters and irritation after you take them off(especially if it is your first time wearing them). I had them for a few days too, my first time).
Oh, and make it a soft leather. You do not want the tough stuff.

Buy flip flops that fit your feet. I know that sounds obvious, but you would be surprised at how many still make that mistake. I do not care how cute the flip flops look, you need to buy something that fits. The last thing you want is for your heel to hang off the back edge. Your feet will scrape across a lot of surfaces and it will hurt.

Buy a sturdy pair. Once again, sounds obvious, but people are still making that mistake. You could be exposing your foot to all kinds of things, including sores and athlete's foot(I am talking after the fact).
